She attended Nepean High School completing her Dental technician training at the Sydney Dental Hospital in 1976. Frances worked for 10 dentists up till 1980 then she completed her Dental Prosthetists training.
Since becoming a Dental Prosthetist, Frances made the choice not to be a Dental Technician to Dentists anymore and created her own Direct Denture Clinic in Penrith in 1980 in an arcade called Parkers Arcade. She was on the first floor
