The golf course is considered by many as 'the superior in the west'. The Club is a huge location for a tranquility beer or glass of wine. The employees at Penrith Golf Club are often acknowledged as the friendliest in the local community, which is a reputation we are very arrogant of. Our members are our best friends and that extends to our guests as well. Penrith Golf and Recreation Club itself has wonderful aesthetic qualities with the superb backdrop of the Blue Mountains and the championship Golf course. The Function Room can be detailed to cater for the least celebration. The room itself is very versatile and can be made to look full whether you are looking at 60 guests or 100 guests. There is plenty that can be done from simple balloons, to the use of chair covers (at further cost) and we can help to arrange anything that you need. You menu should be finalized ONE MONTH in advance with final numbers to be confirmed ONE WEEK earlier the function.

The irrigation system has been on its conventional overnight watering program, as well as being recently manually overridden to irrigate during the day to aid alleviate the vogue parched conditions. Some fairways have been aerated to alleviate compacted soil and to permit deeper water penetration. GREENS The greens are expected to speed up in the future weeks with different green keeping techniques applied. SAND BUCKETS The Course Superintendent has asked members to ensure they are returning their sand buckets to the return stations provided. A Credit Card number is needed to secure your booking. One week prior to your golf day the numbers confirmed for your event would be the minimum number that would be charged for on the day. Payment is needed within seven days of the event. Where the club has closed the course the client has the option to cancel precooked catering arrangements without penalty. Tailored shorts of regular length are permissible provided packed length socks or short white ankle length socks are worn. Shirts with a collar are mandatory and must be tucked in to your trousers shorts. Group bookings should be made at the time of booking confirmation. The driver of the refreshment cart is to be a staff member of Penrith Golf Pastime Club. Please depart information on strategic placement of signage with Club staff. Copies of menu options are available to aid with the budget for your golf day. Confirmation of the number of guests for lunch or dinner will be required one week prior to your event. Club policy does not allow patrons or guests to bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Alcohol cannot be removed from the Club premises and must be consumed in the defined function areas. The Clubhouse has defined areas where smoking is strictly prohibited. Any item that is left in the club MUST be collected within 48 hours of your function. Once you have joined the Club as a golfing member and the Board of Directors has approved your application, you will receive your membership card and bag tag via the post. Refund Policy No refunds are given for termination of membership without approval from the Board of Directors. Abundant water supply via the Nepean River. Management will receive all concern with gifts brought to the Reception area however, no responsibility will be accepted.
